We are currently seeking for a Service Delivery Coordinator to join our Department of Corrections and Ministry of Justice team based at Northland Region Corrections Facility.Reporting to the National Administration Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the effective delivery of high-quality outcomes that underpin our essential services. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination and continuous improvement of service delivery across this critical portfolio.

Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice that proactively manages and delivers to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 98 courts and 141 community correctional sites.

In this role, you will provide administrative services to support the contract by having great attention to detail. This role will suit a dynamic person who has a real interest in supporting the business and making things happen!

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams).
  • Strong organisational (time management) and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong customer service capability, including the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret contract KPI’s and performance requirements.
  • Experience in a customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-transactional environment.
  • Experience within facilities or contract management is highly regarded.
  • Experience with contract management systems advantageous.
