Stabilisation Supervisor

At Downer, we deliver integrated services that support and enhance our communities. We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Pavement Rehabilitation team in Maddington, WA and play a key role in the safe and successful delivery of projects across our network.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, leading and coordinating personnel, plant, suppliers and resources to ensure projects and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a permanent full-time salaried leadership position offering the opportunity to lead frontline crews and contribute to the successful delivery of critical road infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily site operations and project activities
- Supervise crews, subcontractors and plant resources
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legislative and company requirements
- Monitor project progress, productivity and quality outcomes
- Coordinate materials, equipment and supplier activities
- Manage project documentation, reporting and records
- Engage with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
- Support workforce planning, training and team development
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
About You
- Experience in a Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar leadership role
- Background in road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation, civil construction or a related industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Current Driver Licence
