About the Role

The HR Business Partner Manager is a strategic and hands-on HR leader who partners with business leaders to align people strategies with operational and commercial objectives. This role is responsible for delivering effective HR solutions across the employee lifecycle, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment.

As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, the HR Business Partner Manager provides expert guidance on workforce planning, organizational change, employee relations, talent development, and people-related decision-making. The role also includes direct management of one HR Advisor, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality HR service delivery across the business.

This position requires a resilient HR professional who can confidently navigate complex situations, build strong relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Contribute

  • Partner with site and functional leadership to understand workforce requirements, organizational objectives, and staffing needs, providing HR guidance and support to achieve business goals.
  • Lead and oversee site-based HR programs and initiatives, ensuring consistent and effective implementation across the operation.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, learning, and talent development activities to build and maintain a capable workforce.
  • Manage relationships with external staffing providers and support contingent workforce planning where required.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs, while providing guidance on employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives to support individual and organizational growth.
  • Manage HR budgets, reporting, and HR systems to support effective decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, customer requirements, and audit standards.
  • Provide guidance on labor relations matters, including union relationships, grievance processes, negotiations, and dispute resolution where applicable.
  • Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support informed decision-making.
  • Manage and coach one HR Advisor, supporting their development and ensuring consistent delivery of HR services.
  • Promote engagement, communication, and inclusion initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in human resources management, including employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English language
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to provide practical people-focused solutions.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience using HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications to manage data and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or other operational environments is beneficial.
