Operational Key Account Manager

• Manages commercial relationship with key and important accounts of DSV and ensure business growth and profitability of the assigned accounts
• Develop and maintain account plans, propose account objectives, and ensure assigned accounts are managed and developed in line with corporate and regional strategies.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual business review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring preparation, minutes, corrective actions, and follow-up are completed in a timely manner.
• Analyze account performance, identify business opportunities and potential risks, and provide appropriate recommendations to management.
• Coordinate smooth implementation of new business, handover of standard operating procedures to operations, and ongoing monitoring of operational compliance.
• Escalate customer concerns, service issues, and complaints promptly to relevant stakeholders across products, operations, and regions, and follow up on agreed corrective actions.
• Create, update, and track opportunities through CRM, ensuring country RFQ opportunities follow the tender management process and are aligned with product, regional, and global teams where applicable.
• Prepare and share RFI and RFQ post-bid analysis, ensuring lessons learned and corrective actions are identified and agreed with stakeholders.
• Maintain close collaboration with operations teams to support performance excellence, quality improvement programs, and adherence to customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely data in sales systems, including Microsoft Dynamics, and monitor the use of customer applications where applicable.
• Support Finance in achieving desired DSO targets by following up on account-related matters when required.
• Any other job-related tasks assigned by the superior.

Business Acumen

• Functional experience in air / sea / logistics / SCM and customer IT solutions (in accordance to existing and potential services offered to the specific customer).
• Understanding of specific customer requirements and customers market environment.
• Strong functional and commercial understanding of business environment especially in processes.
• Demonstrated sales and account management ability.
• Comprehensive local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment).
• Basic business administration competence.

Experience & Education

• Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Logistics / Transportation or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in the supply chain industry
