Senior AI/ML Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer specializing in NLP and Generative AI to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions. The role combines hands-on AI/ML engineering, LLM application development, model customization, and client-facing problem solving.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and NLP applications using LLMs such as GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, and equivalent models.

- Build production-ready AI solutions for complex business use cases across different industries.

- Fine-tune and customize LLMs using LoRA, PEFT, supervised fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and other relevant techniques.

- Develop RAG-based applications, leveraging embeddings, vector search, document processing, and knowledge retrieval.

- Build and optimize NLP and machine learning models for classification, information extraction, summarization, text generation, semantic search, and related use cases.

- Evaluate model quality, accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability and implement continuous improvements.

- Work with large datasets to identify patterns, generate insights, and develop data-driven solutions.

- Develop reusable AI components, pipelines, and services for scalable enterprise deployment.

- Collaborate with Consulting, Engineering, Data Science, Product, and other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Work directly with clients to understand business challenges, define AI solution approaches, and communicate technical recommendations.

- Stay current with advances in LLMs, NLP, agentic AI, model optimization, and AI engineering and evaluate their applicability to business problems.

- Ensure solutions meet appropriate standards for security, privacy, responsible AI, scalability, and production readiness.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, NLP, or AI Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying Generative AI and NLP solutions.

- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.

- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.

- Practical experience with LLM fine-tuning and model customization, including LoRA and PEFT.

- Strong understanding of NLP and machine learning concepts and model evaluation techniques.

- Experience taking AI/ML models from experimentation through production deployment and operationalization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.

- Experience with Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus, or other vector databases.

- Exposure to AI agents / agentic workflows.

- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent cloud AI platforms.

- Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.

- Experience with multimodal AI, document intelligence, or AI-powered automation.
