Senior Solution Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Solution Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud, data, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise environments. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Python/Java, and modern software engineering practices, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable cloud, data, and AI-enabled solutions aligned with business requirements and measurable outcomes.

- Architect and implement solutions using AWS services across compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, monitoring, orchestration, and serverless/event-driven architectures.

- Design and optimize Snowflake data solutions, including data modelling, SQL performance, data pipelines, access controls, governance, and cost optimization.

- Develop production-grade applications and services using Python and/or Java, following strong software engineering and design principles.

- Build and integrate APIs, data pipelines, cloud services, and enterprise applications.

- Design and implement AI-enabled solutions using Amazon Bedrock, including RAG, agent-based architectures, model evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.

- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements, solution designs, delivery plans, and measurable success criteria.

- Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve development productivity and quality.

- Apply AI-assisted development and evaluation practices, including reusable prompts, automated checks, evaluation loops, and feedback mechanisms.

- Establish and maintain engineering standards covering Git, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, security, observability, and production support.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and long-term resolution.

- Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, Security, Risk, Governance, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.

- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, privacy, regulatory compliance, data governance, and operational resilience.

- Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture and design reviews.

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and cloud cost efficiency.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, solution engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and its core cloud services.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake, including SQL, data modelling, performance tuning, security, governance, and cost optimization.

- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.

- Experience building production-grade enterprise applications, data products, or cloud solutions.

- Strong understanding of APIs, software architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Experience working with sensitive enterprise data and implementing appropriate security and governance controls.

- Strong problem-solving, solution design, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, and LLM evaluation.

- Experience with vector databases and AI/data architectures.

- Familiarity with AWS serverless and event-driven architectures.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools.

- AWS or Snowflake certifications.

- Experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets.

- Understanding of financial data, regulatory requirements, risk, and data sensitivity.
