Our IT Group Support Functions Team
Dyson’s IT Group Support Functions team exists to delight our business stakeholders by partnering with them to define and deliver technology roadmaps that support business strategy and objectives.
IT Group Support Functions team context IT Group Support Functions is made up of the following teams: Supply Chain, Finance & DBS, HR, Legal, Estates & Facilities, and Digital Workplace.
The team has global responsibility for end-to-end business relationships and technical product management across its functions: from ideation, roadmap definition and business case creation, through to delivery execution, enhancements, operations, and eventual product replacement or retirement.
Within IT Group Support Functions, the Finance Systems Team partners globally with Finance and Dyson Business Services to run, enhance and transform the platforms that support Dyson’s finance processes, controls, reporting and operational performance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of IT - Finance Systems, the Sr Business Analyst for (Treasury) will act as a technical and functional authority across Dyson’s Treasury systems, with a particular focus on treasury processes and SAP S/4HANA. The role works closely with Finance stakeholders, Treasury, shared services, product owners, business analysts, delivery teams, architects, project managers, vendors and service partners to shape, deliver and continuously improve finance technology products and services.
This role combines hands-on expertise in treasury and reporting systems, especially SAP S/4HANA, translating business needs into practical functional and technical solutions, maintaining a value-led product backlog, guiding delivery teams, protecting solution integrity, and ensuring globally consistent treasury processes that support cash visibility, control, compliance and business performance.
The role requires strong functional understanding of Treasury operations in SAP S/4HANA, including cash management, bank connectivity, payments, bank statement processing, liquidity forecasting, treasury controls and integration with core Finance processes.
Main Job Responsibilities
· Reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end from facilitating and organizing workshops during project early discovery phase to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks.
· Delivering and/or leading other business analysts activities to elicit requirements that are in line with industry standard best practices, considers all aspects of the business process from requirements to delivering desired output whilst considering ease of ongoing support, administration and maintenance.
· Working on the implementation and enhancement of treasury systems, including SAP S/4HANA Treasury, SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FICO, in line with business need and ensuring benefits realization.
· Lead Treasury process discovery and design workshops, translating business needs into user stories, functional specifications, process maps and acceptance criteria across cash management, liquidity, payments, bank account management and reporting.
· Define and validate SAP S/4HANA Treasury requirements for bank connectivity, payment formats, bank statement processing, reconciliations, cash positioning, liquidity forecasting and treasury reporting.
· Work with banks, payment providers, middleware, security and integration teams to support secure, controlled and resilient treasury processes, including ISO 20022, SWIFT, XML, MT940 and camt bank statement formats where relevant.
· Ensure Treasury solution designs support appropriate controls, segregation of duties, approvals, auditability, compliance and operational resilience.
· Assist the business stakeholders in making decisions on the configuration and the optimal use of the Finance solutions
· Collaborate with development teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are designed to minimize risk
· Provide training and support to end users on the use of the solution, especially SAP S/4HANA
· Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to manage project timelines, scope, and expectations
· Identify and resolve issues that arise during the system implementation
· Work with the business stakeholders and project teams to develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of the Finance solutions
· Stay up to date with the latest Finance application features and functionality and provide recommendations for new features that could benefit the organization
· Devise and plan analysis approach for project work.
· Act as internal consultant to business stakeholders.
· Produces or guides others to produce detailed business models and assist in the preparation of business cases.
· Identifying new alternative and innovative approaches to performing business activities.

About You
Essential Experience and Skills
· Years (>4) of broad practical experience in the role, with repeated practice performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations.
· Years (>4) experience in Treasury applications and common Finance processes, with SAP S/4HANA Treasury, SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and product management experience.
· SAP implementation & product management experience.
· Strong understanding of end-to-end Treasury processes, including cash and liquidity management, payments, bank account management, bank statements, reconciliations, treasury reporting, controls and integration with FI/CO, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
· Experience defining treasury master data requirements, including banks, house banks, bank accounts, payment methods, signatories, approval structures and related control data.
· Ability to challenge requirements against standard SAP S/4HANA capability and recommend pragmatic solutions that minimise customisation while meeting business and control needs.
· Ideally a relevant professional qualification (e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA Level 3 Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
· Ability to see the overall picture and how individual actions fit within it.
· Ability to know what techniques to use and what influences the usage of the various techniques for the tasks.

Desirable Experience
· SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO or related certification.
· Experience working with Finance Shared Services, regional finance teams and global process owners.
· Experience with global finance transformation, process harmonisation, controls improvement or ERP modernisation programmes.
· Understanding of end-to-end treasury processes and financial reporting
· Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Commercial, Legal, and external delivery partners.
