Senior Finance Manager with OneStream/Hyperion

Job Summary:

As the Finance Systems Senior Manager, you will be a key contributor in translating finance needs into usable, scalable products that improve how the broader finance team plans, reports, analyses performance, and makes decisions. You will own the end-to-end delivery of critical finance system capabilities across SAP, OneStream, ForecastAI, AI Studio, integrations, automation, and analytics, ensuring solutions are well designed, controlled, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day finance processes. The role requires strong technical depth, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of finance processes to deliver practical products that reduce manual effort, improve data reliability, accelerate planning and close cycles, and strengthen decision support across markets, DBS finance, and Group Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & delivery of Products to drive Technology-enabled finance processes

• Own the end-to-end setup and delivery of OneStream ForecastAI and AI Studio products, from use-case prioritisation, data readiness, model configuration, validation, testing, controls, deployment, and hypercare through to BAU handover.

• Deliver practical AI forecasting and analytics capabilities within OneStream, including forecast model governance, explainability, exception handling, scenario analysis, and user-ready dashboards/commentary to support faster and more reliable planning cycles.

• Drive adoption of ForecastAI and AI Studio across market finance and DBS finance teams by developing enablement plans, training materials, adoption metrics, super-user networks, and feedback loops that convert AI capabilities into repeatable finance processes.

• Partner with FP&A, markets, DBS finance, IT, and OneStream vendor teams to define product roadmaps, release plans, success measures, and support models for AI-enabled forecasting and analytics products.

• Develop and maintain training, user guides, documentation, and ongoing support materials to help finance and business teams adopt, use, and embed finance system products effectively.

System Administration:

• Oversee the maintenance and administration of financial systems, ensuring uptime, performance, and stability across global finance functions.

• Lead the configuration, security management, and user access administration for financial systems.

• Ensure system updates, patches, and backups are performed regularly and efficiently.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Lead efforts to continuously optimize and enhance finance systems to improve operational efficiency and meet business requirements.

• Identify areas of improvement in system functionality, and drive initiatives to optimize performance and scalability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align system features with operational objectives.

Training & Documentation:

• Ensure comprehensive training programs are developed and delivered to finance and business teams to enhance system usage and user adoption.

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of user manuals, training guides, and system documentation.

• Provide ongoing support and training to ensure teams are effectively utilizing the finance system.

• AI & Analytics Enablement: Ability to operationalize AI/agentic automation and advanced analytics across finance processes, including end-to-end delivery of OneStream ForecastAI and AI Studio capabilities, with strong product governance, explainability, controls, adoption planning, and measurable value realisation for market and DBS finance teams.

• Change Management: Experience in managing change within system upgrades and improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Master Data Management: Strong understanding of master data management and its impact on financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate and reliable system performance and reporting.

• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, engineering or related field.

• Experience:

  • Proven experience managing and supporting finance systems, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, planning, and accounting processes.

  • Experience in system administration and troubleshooting is a plus.

  • Strong SAP experience (S/4HANA or ECC), including understanding of core finance processes and data structures (FI/CO) and exposure to integration mechanisms (e.g., IDoc/BAPI/OData/CDS as applicable).

• Skills:

  • Proven analytics capability from consolidation data to insights: extract/curate OneStream outputs, model and validate data in SQL, and deliver reliable KPI dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau), including refresh monitoring, data quality checks, and stakeholder-ready narratives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive improvements in system functionality.

Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team and working effectively across departments.
