Junior Project Engineer - Mining

Expanding company in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Junior project Engineer to join their team. 

You will own the enquiry-to-offer process, including development of the solution and preparation of the formal quotation and act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the full Sales Order and project lifecycle.
 

• Liaise with staff at Project Houses and OEM's in order to develop and maintain healthy business relationships
• Work to achieve the annual budget for project related Sales
• Obtain and follow up on leads for new projects making visits to customers as required
• Prepare proposals for new projects and make presentations to clients
• Produce quotes for new projects enquiries
• Convert quotations into orders
• Fully understand what is involved with the project in terms of products and services, quality requirements and commercial conditions.
• Be aware of any production difficulties and delays and participate in communication with customer in consultation with Project Manager, Quality Manager, Production Controller and Sales Manager
• Arrange customer inspection visits for inspection purposes in conjunction with Production Controller and Quality Manager
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Grade 12
• Diploma in relevant field i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Process engineering, etc. 
• 2+ Years' experience in a similar role within the engineering / mining sector. 
• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of company manufacturing Methods and Procedures.
• Knowledge of process Improvement.
• Adequate Technical Understanding of all company products.
