Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and safe factory operations. This role involves performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing timely repairs. The Maintenance Technician works closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain food safety standards in a meat processing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance on factory equipment, including conveyors, slicers, and refrigeration units.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to prevent production delays.
3. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and document maintenance activities.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations in all repair and maintenance work.
5. Coordinate with production teams to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.

Required Skills

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing or food processing environment, with hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs.
