EDX is looking for a Market Operations Analyst to monitor market health, support Members, validate changes, and improve platform operations.

You will monitor market health, troubleshoot operational issues, support Members, validate software changes, and run daily market procedures. You will help onboard Members, resolve connectivity and trading issues, build data reports, contribute to product improvements, and support market events and maintenance coverage.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve market-operation policies and procedures
Monitor markets in real time for abnormal activity and disruptive events
Escalate or resolve market issues promptly
Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain incident logs and post-mortems
Serve as a primary contact for Member inquiries
Support Member onboarding, integration, UAT testing, configuration, and production setup
Support Perps Members during risk events
Resolve complex Member issues with Technology
Track Member issues through resolution
Contribute market operations expertise to product design and prioritization
Perform QA testing and write specifications for system changes
Support FIX and API connectivity onboarding
Build Looker dashboards and reports
Analyze trading data for trends and anomalies
Contribute to operational automation
Apply AI tools to streamline procedures and analysis

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field or role
2–5 years of trade desk support, exchange operations, or market operations experience
Understanding of market microstructure, order book mechanics, and spot or derivatives trading workflows
Experience with FIX Protocol and API connectivity
UAT experience
Experience supporting institutional clients in a technical capacity under pressure
Experience in a 24/7/365 support environment
Familiarity with issue tracking, CRM, and customer communication platforms
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and packet-capture tools
Ability to analyze data and trade logs
Proficiency in Looker or comparable BI tools
