Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for an international school located in Shanghai. This position is available for an immediate start or from February 2027, for the 2026/27 academic year.

Job details

• Teach Mathematics to middle school students, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Plan lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
• Build strong problem-solving and reasoning skills that prepare students for senior high programmes
• Monitor student progress and set clear targets so that every learner can improve
• Give clear, constructive feedback to students, parents and caregivers
• Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the school's curriculum
• Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics or a related subject
• At least 3 years of previous Mathematics teaching experience
• Familiarity with the IGCSE, A-Level or IB curriculum preferred
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting

Benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
