Introduction & Summary

A highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Data technologies, specializing in Big Data environments. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data applications with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in consulting or development, with a technical orientation towards effective data solutions.

Main Responsibilities

Core duties include the delivery of project-based service and maintenance for data products. Responsibilities encompass:

• Design and develop new applications while maintaining existing components.
• Implement technical solutions aligned with project timelines.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Contribute proactively to the performance of Big Data & BI platforms.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Develop data integration solutions using relevant ETL tools.
• Maintain and administer databases effectively.
• Deliver solutions that facilitate structured data access for analysis.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven consulting or development experience with Microsoft Data technologies.
• Confirmed expertise in Big Data environments, particularly with Databricks (Python and Spark).
• Strong orientation towards technical development.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure development components (DevOps tools, Data Lake Gen2, Data Factory v2).
• Experience using Azure Analysis Services - Tabular (DAX).
• Knowledge of SQL Server suite (on-premises), SSAS, and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Scala development.
• Expertise in optimizing data processing performance.
• Ability to function effectively in an English-speaking delivery environment.
