Data Specialist

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, reporting needs, and performance objectives.
• Identify relevant data sources and contribute to defining requirements for data utilization and reporting.
• Ensure consistent application of business definitions, metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using platforms such as Power BI, DOMO, or similar Business Intelligence tools.
• Translate business requirements into user-friendly and effective reporting solutions.
• Support the standardization and continuous improvement of operational reporting practices.
• Monitor and improve the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data used in reporting and analysis.
• Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives and standards.
• Document data sources, business rules, reporting logic, and analytical methodologies.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Support testing and validation activities for new data sources, integrations, and data models.
• Provide guidance to users regarding reporting tools and interpretation of data insights.
• Participate in digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Help identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and best practices in data management and reporting.
• Support compliance with company policies related to information security, ethics, health and safety, environmental standards, and international trade compliance requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience working with data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of data analytics concepts and reporting methodologies.
• Experience using Power BI, DOMO, or similar Business Intelligence and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or master data management practices.
• Experience supporting operational reporting and business performance analysis.
• Familiarity with digital transformation, process optimization, or automation initiatives.
• Ability to create clear documentation for data sources, reporting logic, and business requirements.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
