Operating out of Lokoja, the state capital, the organisation has earned a solid reputation over 22 years for delivering quality retail distribution of food products. Its non-consumable range covers home care items and body care essentials.

• Position: Internal Auditor
• Location: Kogi, Nigeria
• Job Type: Full time

• Carry out scheduled internal audits covering branches, departments, warehouses, sales outlets, and operational units.
• Examine financial and operational records to confirm they are accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Authenticate transactions, expenses, stock movements, sales records, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Perform physical stock counts and reconcile the results with system data and documented records.
• Detect gaps in controls, irregularities, mismatches, and areas of potential risk.
• Look into unusual transactions and present findings to Management.
• Assess adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
• Conduct unannounced audits whenever necessary.
• Oversee cash handling, collections, expenditures, inventory, and other areas touching company assets.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommended actions.
• Track previously raised audit issues and confirm that corrective measures have been implemented.
• Evaluate how effective current internal controls are and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with the relevant departments to investigate and clear audit exceptions.
• Keep proper records of audit processes and outcomes.
• Assist Management in reinforcing accountability and minimising operational losses.
• Ensure all audit work is performed impartially and with strict confidentiality.

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
• Relevant professional accounting or audit certification.
