JOB SUMMARY:
Manager Conversion Payroll is expected to provide production oversight, performance management, coaching and feedback and partner engagement for Payroll service teams at Empower India. Team supports payroll implementation and online enrollment, automatic enrollment & Feedback services at a plan level for new as well as existing clients to Empower.
Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports/dashboard used to assess the effectiveness of the function. Work with stakeholders to ensure policies and procedures are updated and maintained for the department.
7 to 10 years of industry experience in asset management and US retirement (Defined contribution) experience is a must along with people management, stakeholder management. Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
People & stakeholder Management:
- Manages team and work on their individual development
- Works with managers on hiring, develops training procedures and provides training
- Conducts performance evaluations and use the right tools to improve individuals’ performance
- Manages staff issues according to company and divisional policies.

- Pro-actively identifies risk, make recommendations and able to take decisions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures issues are being resolved and clients/partners are kept apprised of progress ensuring highest level of client service and satisfaction.
- Would act as subject matter expert of the process as the role demands trouble shooting and floor support for the team
- Should proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction
- Assists with review, controls, and audits as appropriate
- Exercise discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance such as resolving queries, reporting of issues/escalated transactions
- Experience in designing SOPs, training plan and assessments etc.
- Monitor deliverables by tracking activity, escalating issues, publishing progress reports and dashboards and recommend actions
- Driving high satisfaction, quality, and efficiency for clients
- Delivering superior results quickly and efficiently, utilizing effective time management skills.
- Drives innovation through collaboration with clients and business processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
- Knowledge and experience of US retirement (Defined contribution), Capital markets, Asset management will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on end to end of client onboarding process
- Attention to detail-oriented candidature with strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must be deadline oriented ensuring issues are being resolved and clients are kept apprised of progress ensuring highest level of client service and satisfaction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Should have good oral and written communication skills as the role demands extensive partner communication via calls and emails
- Accountability: Demonstrates reliability by taking necessary actions to ensure issues are resolved swiftly
- Global Collaboration: Applies global perspective when working within the Team and reach out to relevant stakeholders to avoid any delay in resolving queries
- Communication: Articulates information clearly and presents information effectively and confidently when working with others
- Time Management: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively. Promptly handles escalated issue/s.
- Project Management: Certified project management knowledge, experience in leading and executing projects
