Data Centre Network Engineer (MNC)

Company’s Profile:

Our client is a well-established global technology solutions provider with a presence in over 30 countries worldwide, providing hands-on technical support and delivering world-class IT services to their MNC clients. They are now looking for an experienced Data Centre Network Engineer to work alongside their talented team in a dynamic environment to scale greater heights.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and integrate network infrastructure requirements into global data center designs, including space, power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Develop and evolve network infrastructure standards, technical guidelines, and design processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to validate network infrastructure builds through site visits and construction administration.
• Provide technical guidance to design, construction, and operations teams to maintain design integrity and minimize implementation deviations.
• Support infrastructure commissioning, provisioning, and operational readiness across global data center sites.
• Drive strategic initiatives focused on infrastructure efficiency, scalability, standardization, and innovation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
• Leverage automation, tooling, and AI to improve design consistency, deployment quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• At least 5 - 7 years of experience designing and deploying data center connectivity infrastructure
• Experience working in large-scale data center
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic systems, including design standards and installation best practices
• Willing to work on weekends (5 days work week, off days may be on weekdays)

• Degree in any IT discipline or equivalent

• Strong communication skills with internal & external stakeholders
