Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/Node.js/Angular)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Node.js for back-end development, with experience or a willingness to learn Angular for front-end development.

This role requires a hands-on developer who can design, build, and maintain cloud-native microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

A non-negotiable aspect of this role is the active and proficient use of Generative AI tools - including Claude Code and similar AI-assisted development platforms - as a core part of the day-to-day engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Java, Node.js, and Nest.js
• Build or contribute to front-end development using Angular and TypeScript
• Analyze legacy applications and define target state designs and architectures
• Implement cloud-native microservices using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, Step Functions)
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Leverage Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other GenAI tools as primary productivity accelerators throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code generation, refactoring, debugging, test creation, documentation, and code review support
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI-assisted development tools to improve team velocity and code quality
• Contribute to team best practices and guidelines around responsible and effective GenAI usage, demonstrating measurable productivity gains through intentional and disciplined AI tool integration
• Perform unit, integration, and non-functional testing using tools like Jest, Playwright, and Bruno, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate test coverage generation and quality assurance workflows
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and peer-level code reviews
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and designers, to address technical issues and support infrastructure needs
• Mentor junior developers on both engineering fundamentals and effective GenAI usage practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full stack software development
• Expertise in back-end development with Java, Node.js, and Nest.js
• Proficiency in front-end development using Angular and TypeScript
• Background in AWS cloud services, including Lambda, EC2, and S3, as well as CloudFormation and EKS
• Skills in working with databases such as DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and DB2 (legacy)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and Honeycomb
• Competency in testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, and Bruno
• Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code (agentic development, refactoring, architecture support) and GitHub Copilot (inline code completion and SDLC integration), with continuous evaluation and adoption of emerging GenAI tools
• Demonstrated AI-forward mindset, embracing GenAI tools as essential engineering instruments and staying current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape
• Capability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies like Angular and adapt to evolving project and tooling needs
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex issues - with and without AI assistance
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in client-facing roles, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables with a focus on precision, scalability, and security, including critically evaluating AI-generated output
