Senior Python Developer with AWS

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with AWS expertise to join our team on strategic projects within the asset management domain. The projects involve applications related to Portfolio Management, Investment Operations, Data and Workflow Management, Regulatory Reporting, ETF systems, and applications related to Investment Strategy and Research, among others. The team is working on providing coefficients for portfolios of investments based on 3rd party vendor data. We are looking for a person who will bring their technical excellence to make an impact on the requirements and architecture of crafted solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python services and RESTful APIs utilizing microservices architecture patterns for enterprise scale
• Contribute to the requirements and architecture of crafted solutions
• Develop applications related to Portfolio Management, Investment Operations, and Data and Workflow Management
• Build and maintain solutions supporting Regulatory Reporting, ETF systems, and Investment Strategy and Research
• Deliver coefficients for portfolios of investments based on 3rd party vendor data
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver strategic projects
• Leverage AWS core serverless services stack to build scalable enterprise solutions
• Ensure technical excellence across the full development lifecycle

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Python
• Expertise in AWS services, including AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Storage Service, Amazon Elastic Container Service, and Amazon Simple Notification Service
• Background in implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture patterns for enterprise scale
• Understanding of serverless architecture using the AWS core services stack
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS Fargate and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)
• Knowledge of Java
