Job Title: Power Management & Automation Commissioning Engineer

The job
Lead the commissioning, testing, and validation of Power Management Systems (PMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), Microgrid Controllers (MGC),
Key responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning and configuration of Power Management Systems (PMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), and Microgrid Controllers (MGC)
- Implement and tune PPC controller.
- Configure and commission Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) control including SOC management, charge/discharge scheduling, and hybrid dispatch optimization.
- Design, implement, and commission Power Automation systems for Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Utility applications.
- Program and configure PLC/RTU systems for power management applications.
- Prepare, coordinate, and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with equipment manufacturers
- Lead Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as per approved client formats and procedures
Essential requirements
- Configure and test multiple communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 61850 (MMS, GOOSE), DNP3, and IEC 60870-5-101/103/104.
- Implement cybersecurity measures as per IEC 62351 and industry best practices
- Software Tool hands on experience on multiple software platform such as Codesys, IEC 61131 PLC Tools.
