What's next?
We're launching a globally recognised brand in Germany, taking it from zero to one. You'd build the growth function from scratch, own the trajectory, and decide where the money goes.
The right person has spent most of their career in DTC or subscription businesses, lives in Meta and paid social, and runs everything through the numbers. If you're the kind of person who opens the ads manager before your emails in the morning, this is probably for you.
Germany is our fastest-moving market. It runs its own budget and makes its own calls. From day one you'd have real spend, real targets, and the autonomy to go after them.
About the role
You report to the Head of Growth for Germany, who owns budget allocation across the German portfolio. You'd own everything underneath that for this brand: channel strategy, creative testing, forecasting, and performance reporting to senior leadership every week or two.
A creative strategist joins you from day one and reports to you. You set the testing agenda and decide what goes to market. Once the brand can carry it, you'd hire a growth manager underneath you.
Most of your week goes on doing the work, not directing it.
You'll:
- Own channel strategy from zero - paid social and search first, then you decide where the next euro goes
- Own forecasting: spend, CAC, patient volume, and the conversation when the numbers shift
- Decide the creative testing agenda - you set the bar and decide what runs
- Lead the weekly performance read-outs to senior leadership
- Hire your team, once the brand earns it
- You will launch this brand into other verticals within the space expanding on the existing platform
About you
Six to ten years in performance marketing, most of it DTC or subscription. You've built campaigns from scratch, shipped launches, and fixed what broke.
Meta and paid social are where you spend most of your time. You're numerical by instinct - you reach for the data before you reach for an opinion, you can build a forecast, back it with logic, and say plainly when it's wrong.
You've worked somewhere high-growth with thin resourcing, preferably a start-up / scale-up environment where the remit was wide and the support wasn't. You enjoy getting your hands dirty: jumping into ad platforms, iterating on landing pages, running experiments, and not waiting for someone else to do it.
You understand performance creative - not just what the numbers say but why an ad works. You have a view on what makes people stop scrolling, what drives someone to click, and what turns a curious visitor into a paying customer. You can brief a creative strategist with enough precision that the output is right first time, and you know when something isn't working before the data catches up.
