PreSales Engineer DACH (H/F/X)
Evertrust is a French cybersecurity software vendor, specialized in Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), with our Stream and Horizon products trusted by companies across a wide range of industries.
This role is set up as an employed contract through our partner Deel (Employer of Record), since it's based outside France
Start date: as soon as possible
You'll join Evertrust's commercial organization, working hand in hand with our Sales, Channel, Marketing and R&D teams to grow our footprint across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
As a Pre-Sales, you'll be the technical and functional bridge between our prospects, our sales team, and our product/R&D teams throughout the DACH market. You'll turn business needs into clear, compelling, demonstrable solutions, and help secure our sales cycles from first contact all the way to signature.
Main responsibilities
Identify and qualify prospects' functional and technical needs during discovery calls, demos and proposal defenses
Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations, adapted to each prospect's use cases and constraints
Run Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate our solution within the prospect's own environment
Contribute to technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses
Support the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle, securing technical scope and commitments up to closing
Represent Evertrust at trade shows, partner events and client meetings across the DACH region
Track market and competitive intelligence, and help enrich our sales content (battle cards, demo kits, videos)
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical sales consulting
Fluent English and German (this role covers the DACH region)
Based in Germany, Switzerland or Austria, working fully remotely
Comfortable traveling regularly: at least once a month to our Paris headquarters, plus regular visits to clients, partners and trade shows across DACH (and potentially beyond)
Open to being employed through our partner Deel (Employer of Record), as this role is based outside France
A background in cybersecurity, PKI, cryptography or Certificate Lifecycle Management is a real plus, though not required: we're happy to support the right person in ramping up
Experience with indirect/channel sales (partners, resellers) is a plus
Engineering degree, Master's degree, or equivalent experience
Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a genuine client-first mindset

What we offer
Compensation for this role: between €90,000 and €110,000 gross/year total (base salary + variable, indicative split ~70/30)
