This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing technology team focused on delivering business-critical services and digital capabilities. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes that support our applications and platforms.

You will work closely with development, operations, architecture, and business stakeholders to implement modern DevOps practices, improve operational efficiency, and enhance platform reliability. This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale systems, cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing opportunities to influence the future direction of our technology landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational processes that enable successful delivery of applications and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions that support application hosting, data processing, analytics, and enterprise services.
  • Develop and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve deployment quality and consistency.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities to ensure system health, availability, and performance visibility.
  • Automate operational and administrative tasks to reduce manual effort, increase efficiency, and improve reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, product, and business teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are delivered successfully.
  • Support software releases, deployments, and infrastructure maintenance activities as required.
  • Ensure platforms and services comply with organizational security standards, governance requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and implement best practices for access management, data protection, and system security.
  • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of production issues, driving long-term corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Success in this role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, collaboration, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement. You will be effective in a fast-paced environment where you can balance operational excellence with innovation and partnership across multiple teams.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • Experience automating operational processes using scripting and automation technologies.
  • Understanding of security best practices, access controls, compliance requirements, and infrastructure governance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and modern cloud operations practices.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability planning, and system optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application deployments and release management processes.
  • Experience working within large, globally distributed teams.
  • Relevant DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure certifications.
