ソリューションエンジニア（SE）は、営業担当者と連携し、担当するお客様およびパートナー企業への技術提案と営業活動を推進するハイタッチ型のプリセールスポジションです。

お客様のビジネス目標、技術環境、優先事項および課題を理解し、F5の製品・サービスを活用したソリューションを提案します。製品機能の説明にとどまらず、技術的な価値をビジネス成果に結び付け、Trusted Advisorとして長期的な信頼関係を構築します。候補者の経験、適性およびビジネスニーズに応じて、Enterprise（ENT）またはCommunications Service Provider（CSP）担当のSE Manager配下に配置されます。本ポジションは、特定分野に限定されたスペシャリストSEではなく、担当アカウントを幅広く支援するアカウントSEです。

職務内容

• 営業担当者と連携し、担当アカウントの技術戦略と案件計画を策定・実行する

• お客様のビジネス目標、IT戦略、アプリケーション環境、セキュリティおよび運用要件を理解する

• お客様のニーズに沿ってF5のソリューションと価値を提案する

• お客様の技術担当者、アーキテクトおよび意思決定者との信頼関係を構築する

• お客様およびパートナー企業との連携を通じて、新規案件や拡張・更新機会を創出する

• プレゼンテーション、ワークショップ、ソリューション設計、デモおよびPoCを実施する

• オンプレミス、クラウド、ハイブリッドクラウドおよびマルチクラウド環境に対応するソリューションを設計する

• 技術的な評価基準やリスクを明確にし、技術検証を通じて営業プロセスを推進する

• 案件の技術的な進捗、競合状況、リスクおよび次のアクションを管理し、売上予測を支援する

• 社内のスペシャリスト、製品部門、サポートおよびプロフェッショナルサービスと連携する

• 継続的な学習とトレーニングを通じて、F5製品および関連技術への専門性を高める

募集要件

• 学士号、または同等の知識・実務経験

• IT業界における8年以上の経験

• EnterpriseまたはCommunications Service Providerのお客様に対するプリセールス、提案、設計または構築経験

• 大規模または複雑なアカウントにおいて、複数のステークホルダーと連携した経験

• ネットワーク、アプリケーションデリバリー、セキュリティ、クラウドまたはインフラストラクチャに関する知識

• お客様の技術課題をビジネス価値に結び付けて説明できる能力

• 高いコミュニケーション力、プレゼンテーション力およびアカウントマネジメント力

• 営業担当者および社内外の関係者と連携し、案件を主体的に推進できる能力

Role Overview

The Solution Engineer (SE) is a high-touch, account-aligned pre-sales professional who works with sales to drive technical strategy and customer engagement. The SE develops a strong understanding of each customer’s business objectives, technology environment, priorities, and challenges. The role positions F5’s products and services to address those needs, connects technical value to business outcomes, and builds long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.

Depending on the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and business needs, the position will be assigned to either the Enterprise (ENT) or Communications Service Provider (CSP) organization under the respective SE Manager. This is an account SE role with broad customer responsibility rather than a dedicated specialist SE position.

What You Will Do

• Partner with sales to develop and execute technical account and opportunity plans

• Understand customers’ business objectives, IT strategies, application environments, security priorities, and operational requirements

• Align F5 solutions and value propositions with customer needs

• Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, architects, and decision-makers

• Identify new, expansion, and renewal opportunities through customer and partner engagement

• Deliver presentations, workshops, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept

• Design solutions across on-premises, cloud, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud environments

• Identify technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and risks to advance the sales process

• Support opportunity management and forecasting by communicating technical progress, competitive positioning, risks, and next steps

• Collaborate with specialist SEs, Product Management, Support, and Professional Services

• Maintain relevant technical expertise through continuous learning and training

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and professional experience

• At least eight years of experience in the IT industry

• Pre-sales, solution consulting, architecture, design, or implementation experience supporting Enterprise or Communications Service Provider customers

• Experience supporting large or complex accounts involving multiple stakeholders

• Knowledge of networking, application delivery, security, cloud, or infrastructure technologies

• Ability to translate technical challenges and capabilities into business value

• Strong communication, presentation, and account management skills

• Ability to collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to advance opportunities

• Professional-level Japanese communication skills

• English skills sufficient to collaborate with internal stakeholders

• Ability to travel to customer and partner locations as required
