How you’llmake an impact
As a Student, Credit Policy Analyst, you'llgain valuable hands-on experience supporting FCC's Portfolio Risk Management team. You'llcontribute to the administration and maintenance of lending forms, assistwith credit policy and process management activities, support governance and documentation initiatives, and help facilitatethe effective delivery of credit policy across the organization. Your work will help the team manage operational priorities, support ongoing regulatory and policy initiatives, and improve the consistency and efficiency of credit risk processes.
You'llbe part of a team that supports FCC's Portfolio and Credit Risk functions. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'llgain exposure to credit policy, process management, governance, and operational risk enablementactivities. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how lending policies, standards, formsand authorities work together to support prudent lending decisions and FCC's business objectives.

What you'lldo
Support the administration, maintenanceand quality assurance of lending forms, templatesand related documentation
Assistwith implementing and communicating updates to credit policies, standards, proceduresand supporting guidance
Help coordinate policy governance activities, including document reviews, version control, approvalsand publication processes
Assistwith tracking action items, maintainingrecordsand supporting project coordination activities related to Credit Risk Policy
Support testing, validationand implementation activities associated with lending forms, processesand system enhancements
Respond to internal inquiries and collaborate with business partners across FCC to support policy, processand operational objectives
Assistwith special projects and continuous improvement initiatives supporting credit policy, process managementand risk enablement
What you’llbring to the team
Required qualifications:
Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a bachelor's degree program in business administration, commerce, accounting, finance, agriculture, agricultural financeor a related field
Strong interest in credit analysis, lending, agriculture, financeor risk management
Ability to analyze information, identifytrendsand develop practical recommendations
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinkingand decision-making abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Wordand PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications:
Coursework related to finance, accounting, lending, agriculture, economics, risk management, or business analysis
Experience gained through internships, co-op placements, volunteer work, student projectsor academic research involving financial analysis or business decision-making
Knowledge of lending processes, credit analysis, agricultural business operationsor financial statement analysis
Bilingualism (English and French)is an asset.
