Procurement Officer

Fastest Cakes Limited is a registered Nigerian brand dedicated to producing and delivering delicious, budget-friendly cakes at impressive speed. The business places a strong emphasis on making the process of ordering cakes for celebrations simple, enjoyable, and stress-free. Its founding team brings substantial industry expertise, having already baked and delivered more than 10,000 cakes across Lagos without a single damaged order.

We are currently hiring a Procurement Officer to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. This role carries responsibility for the company's entire purchasing function, from sourcing supplies for cake production to managing supplier relationships, budgets, and inventory records.

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the purchasing unit.
• Develop purchasing plans for the supplies required in cake production.
• Uphold and apply the company's established procurement policies and procedures.
• Examine, contrast, evaluate, and authorise the products and services the company intends to buy.
• Track inventory levels and keep precise, up-to-date purchase and pricing records.
• Keep supplier records current, including their credentials, delivery timelines, and the range of products they offer.
• Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers and handle contract negotiations.
• Investigate and assess potential new suppliers.
• Produce budgets, cost analyses, and procurement reports.

• A Bachelor's Degree, backed by a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Must live in Ikeja or within its surrounding area.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and stock management practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working abilities.
• The ability to stay focused and execute duties reliably, even under pressure.
• Availability to work on selected Sundays and public holidays.
• On-site presence at the office 23 days per month.
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career with the company.

The salary for this position begins at ₦300,000 per month.
