Your Role:Driving excellence through technicalexpertiseand innovation

Senior Project Engineer personnelare responsible forthe overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of waterworks construction projects frominitialbudget through project closeout.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure customer satisfaction byidentifyingand exceeding client needs with the support and direction from a Project Manager or Area Manager

• Estimate, valueengineerand develop project budgets with the support and direction from a Project Manager.

• Facilitate the subcontractor bid process to include processing, distribution and tracking of all project bidding documentation.

• Ability toutilizesoftware programs and templates to process, distribute and track all project documentation

• Performfollowingduties with support and direction from a Project Manager.

• Negotiate subcontractor and material buyout; develop and negotiate subcontracts

• Manage Submittal and RFI process

• Plan and schedule projects

• Manage project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor,materialand equipment; continue to forecast and analyze construction costs,exposuresand profits through project completion.

• Perform project closeout.

• Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork. Communicate effectively; both written and verbal with support and direction from a Project Manager or other Senior Management.

• Safety comes first! Required to complete work in a safe,efficientandaccuratemanner.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

• B.S. in construction management, civil engineering, mechanicalengineeringor related technical area

• Consideration will be given to those with five or more years of related experience as outlined in this job summary

• Moderate tohigh levelofproficiencyoperating Primavera 3 and 6

• Moderate tohigh levelofproficiencyoperating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

• Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications

• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry andutilizeConstruction Math concepts

• Valid driver license for occasional, required travel

• Ability to define problems, collect data,establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
