Senior Network&Security Engineer | Lisbon

Main tasks

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure.
• Interface with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure continuity and consistency of network operations.
• Provide technical expertise and advisory support aligned with digital transformation initiatives.
• Plan, configure, and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Produce and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure network availability, security, and scalability through effective service delivery.
• Deploy and maintain monitoring and management tools to proactively detect and resolve incidents.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to users and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network engineering with strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot complex network environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Network Engineer or equivalent industry-recognized certifications).
• Proven track record in delivering network engineering projects and initiatives.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively across multiple technical domains.
