Network & Security Engineer | Lisbon

Main tasks

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with technical stakeholders to ensure continuity and efficiency of network operations.
• Provide technical support to internal users through service requests and defined processes.
• Analyze network performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Configure and implement network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Investigate and resolve network-related incidents within agreed timelines.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including architecture diagrams and configurations.
• Ensure network reliability, availability, and security in line with service objectives.
• Contribute to network-related projects and technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network engineering with strong knowledge of protocols, topologies, and technologies.
• Experience configuring and managing network devices from multiple vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in diagnosing complex network issues.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant network engineering certification (or equivalent).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple technical stakeholders.
• Capability to work autonomously while coordinating with involved teams when needed.
