Senior Threat & Vulnerability Management Engineer

Main tasks

• Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities across the organization’s technology landscape;
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to drive remediation activities and reduce the company’s attack surface;
• Perform continuous vulnerability monitoring and maintain visibility into security risks;
• Conduct technical analysis and risk assessment of discovered vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation strategies;
• Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes, policies, and documentation;
• Support the implementation of security tools and automation to enhance vulnerability detection and remediation efficiency;
• Participate in incident response and threat analysis activities, providing expertise on vulnerability exploitation and mitigation;
• Report on vulnerability trends, risk posture, and remediation progress to senior stakeholders;
• Contribute to strengthening the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture through threat-informed decision-making;
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Threat & Vulnerability Management or related cybersecurity roles;
• Solid understanding of security vulnerabilities, CVE management, and risk assessment;
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and frameworks;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, compliance, and best practices;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security vulnerability management (AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, or threat intelligence platforms.
