Technical IT Support Specialist

Fineline Global is seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team in Ukraine. The successful candidate will serve as the primary IT support contact for employees in Ukraine while also contributing to first-line Helpdesk support activities across the global organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a career within an international IT environment and gain hands-on experience working with global technologies and teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support for employees in Ukraine.
Provide first-line support for hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, and standard company applications.
Record, manage, and follow up on support requests through the Helpdesk system.
Prepare and configure laptops and user accounts for new employees.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes in cooperation with HR and hiring managers.
Prepare and configure laptops before a new employee’s first working day.
Install required company software and apply the appropriate settings.
Manage IT offboarding activities, including access removal, equipment returns, data handling, and preparation of devices for reuse.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and coordinate equipment delivery, replacement, repair, and return.
Assist the global IT team with Helpdesk requests and user support activities.
Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT specialists when required.
Requirements:
Current residence in Ukraine.
Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook and Teams.
Understanding computer hardware, user accounts, permissions, networking, and VPN connectivity.
Ability to install and configure standard business applications.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Organized approach to task management, documentation, and follow-up.
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
High sense of responsibility, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
Will Be Considered an Advantage:
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Microsoft Intune.
Experience with Helpdesk or ITSM platforms.
Basic PowerShell knowledge.
Understanding endpoint security and device compliance.
Experience supporting remote users.
Relevant IT education, certifications, internships, or personal technical projects.
