First Focus is an Australian managed IT and AI services provider founded in Sydney in 2003, offering IT support, cloud, cybersecurity, IT strategy, data, automation and software development services to mid-sized organisations. The company has grown to almost 500 staff across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, where a large support centre in Pasig serves clients, and it has recently expanded into New Zealand with teams in Auckland and Christchurch. It hires support technicians, systems administrators, cloud and network engineers, technical account managers, AI and technology consultants, developers and finance and recruiting staff.

Love getting things organised? Enjoy a good deal? Think accuracy is strangely satisfying?

We're looking for a Sales Support Officer to join our growing First Focus team in Manila.

If you're the kind of person who loves finding a better price, keeping suppliers on their toes, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks, we should probably talk.

We're after someone who can juggle telecommunications quotes, procurement, supplier relationships and service provisioning without needing three spreadsheets, fourteen reminders and a small miracle to get things done.

You'll work closely with our Technical Account Managers, suppliers and customers to make sure the right telecommunications solutions are sourced, quoted, ordered and delivered.

And because we know Manila traffic can turn a perfectly reasonable commute into an unexpected character-building exercise, there's hybrid working too.

Who are First Focus?

First Focus is one of Australia's leading Managed Service Providers, with nearly 500 people across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

We've spent more than 15 years helping businesses make technology work better, without making everything unnecessarily complicated.

We're a growing international business, but we still believe in the basics: good people, honest communication, supportive leadership and giving talented people the freedom to do their jobs properly.

We want our people to feel informed, aligned, supported and recognised for their contributions.

No unnecessary politics. No endless meetings about meetings. Just smart, capable people working together to deliver great outcomes for our customers.

What you'll actually be doing

This isn't just an admin role where you'll be copying numbers into spreadsheets and hoping nobody notices a misplaced decimal point.

You'll be right in the middle of our telecommunications sales support and procurement operations.

Here's what your day might look like:

  • Creating accurate telecommunications quotations, researching solutions, completing service qualifications and preparing competitive quotes using Excel and ConnectWise Sell.
  • Supporting our Technical Account Managers, helping them find the right telecommunications products and services for our customers.
  • Finding great deals, researching suppliers, comparing pricing and negotiating commercially sensible outcomes.
  • Managing procurement from start to finish, including supplier selection, purchase orders, stock availability, delivery timelines and invoicing accuracy.
  • Coordinating telecommunications provisioning, ordering new services, tracking installations and keeping projects moving.
  • Keeping everyone informed, particularly when suppliers discover that their original delivery estimate was apparently more of a creative suggestion.
  • Maintaining accurate records, updating ConnectWise Manage tickets, tracking backorders and ensuring nothing quietly disappears into the administrative abyss.
  • Building strong supplier relationships, staying across new products, pricing changes, market developments and better purchasing opportunities.

You'll also help identify ways to improve processes, reduce unnecessary complexity and make life easier for our customers and colleagues.

Because doing things the same way forever just because "that's how we've always done it" isn't really our style.

Requirements

What we're looking for

You don't need to know everything about telecommunications on day one, but you'll need a solid foundation in sales support, procurement or telecommunications operations, along with a genuine willingness to learn.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in sales support, procurement, purchasing, order management or telecommunications administration.
  • An understanding of telecommunications products and services, or experience working with technology suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing quotations, processing orders and checking invoices.
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Excel, including pricing comparisons and quotation preparation.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Sell or ConnectWise Manage would be fantastic but isn't essential.
  • Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of pricing, margins, supplier costs and negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests without losing track of priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to follow up with suppliers, customers and internal teams.

Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership.

If a supplier hasn't responded, you follow up. If a quote doesn't look right, you investigate. If a process could be improved, you speak up.

You don't simply forward an email and hope the problem becomes someone else's.

We've all met that person. We're trying not to hire another one.

The kind of person who'll thrive here

You're organised, commercially aware and genuinely enjoy helping others succeed.

You understand that a great Sales Support Officer doesn't just process requests. They make the whole sales and delivery process smoother, faster and more reliable.

You're comfortable working with different personalities, managing competing priorities and communicating clearly when things don't go according to plan.

And you appreciate that sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is prevent a small problem from becoming a very expensive one.

At First Focus, one of our values is Keep It Simple. We believe in removing unnecessary complexity, improving processes and finding smarter ways to work.

We also believe in Always Communicate, because keeping customers and colleagues informed shouldn't require a formal investigation.

Benefits

Why you'll love working with First Focus

We're serious about delivering great service, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously.

Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Competitive salary package, recognising your experience, skills and contribution.
  • Hybrid working arrangements, because we'd rather you spend less time in traffic and more time doing something you actually enjoy.
  • Day shift and weekends off *, giving you time for family, friends and the occasional well-earned sleep-in.
  • 25 paid leave days annually, because work-life balance should be more than a phrase in a recruitment ad.
  • HMO from day one, including one dependent and dental coverage.
  • Never Stop Growing, with 10 paid study days annually, exam covered and salary increases for certifications (conditions apply).
  • Free access to Uprise, including one-on-one coaching with qualified psychologists or counsellors.
  • ₱20,000 employee referral rewards, because good people tend to know other good people.
  • Employee recognition and rewards, because great work deserves to be noticed, appreciated and celebrated.
  • Loyalty bonuses *, recognising people who continue growing with us.
  • Regular social events, End-of-FY celebrations and Christmas parties, with a team that knows how to enjoy itself.
  • A supportive international environment with opportunities to learn, develop and build a long-term career.

*Applicable conditions apply.

Ready to make things happen?

If you're organised, commercially minded, great with details and enjoy making complicated processes run smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just someone who gets things done, communicates clearly and takes pride in doing a great job.

Bring your curiosity, initiative and excellent attention to detail.

We'll bring the opportunities, supportive team and hopefully fewer unnecessary spreadsheets.

Apply now and let's make great things happen together.
