Job Summary
We are seeking a commercially astute and technically visionary Director to own Firstsource's largest and most strategic AI & Cloud client portfolios. You will act as executive sponsor for multiple key accounts, setting delivery strategy and governance across programmes, while mentoring a team of Associate Directors and delivery leaders. With 18+ years of experience, you bring deep Python and Generative AI expertise, enterprise cloud architecture mastery, and the executive presence to influence and win at the CXO level.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Solutioning
- Define multi-year account strategy and win plans across the top client portfolio.
- Set enterprise architecture standards for client solutioning across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Approve major deal architecture, pricing, and delivery models for strategic pursuits.
- Represent Firstsource's AI delivery capability to C-suite client sponsors and industry analysts.
Engineering Leadership & Delivery
- Lead a portfolio of client delivery teams (20-40 engineers and architects) across geographies via Associate Directors and Senior Managers.
- Own portfolio-level P&L, resource planning, and executive-level account reporting.
- Establish org-wide delivery governance, quality gates, and risk management frameworks.
- Champion enterprise-wide adoption of AI coding agents across all client programmes.
Generative AI & Intelligent Automation
- Set enterprise policy for Generative AI governance, safety, and model observability across all products/programmes.
- Sponsor evaluation and adoption of emerging agentic frameworks (LangChain, Agent Core, CrewAI, etc.) at an organizational level.
- Own the AI technology vision presented to clients, analysts, and partners.
- Champion responsible AI practices across the portfolio.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Build and mentor a leadership bench of Associate Directors and delivery managers.
- Own executive relationships with client CXOs, sponsors, and delivery partners across the portfolio.
- Drive an org-wide culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Represent the AI Delivery organization in strategic account planning and new-logo pursuits.
Qualifications & Experience
- 18+ years in software / AI engineering; 8+ years at Director or senior leadership level.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of building and shipping end-to-end applications across the full SDLC.
- Full lifecycle ownership: ideation → architecture → engineering → production → optimisation, at portfolio scale.
- Proven enterprise cloud architecture and deployment leadership across at least one hyperscaler.
- Demonstrable track record of winning and delivering large-scale, multi-account client portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen: portfolio P&L ownership, proposal leadership, and enterprise contract negotiation.
