About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help build, operate, and enhance highly available cloud-based platforms that support critical fintech solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to streamline software delivery, improve platform reliability, and ensure production stability. This role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, site reliability, and operational support to drive secure, scalable, and resilient technology environments. Success is measured through system reliability, deployment efficiency, operational excellence, and outstanding stakeholder support.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting business-critical applications and services.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve deployment reliability.
• Monitor production environments and proactively address performance, availability, and capacity issues.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve platform architecture, operational readiness, and release processes.
• Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and cloud-related incidents across production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Define, measure, and support service level objectives and operational performance metrics.
• Implement security controls, access management, encryption, and compliance-focused infrastructure practices.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience initiatives across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and continuously improve service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in DevOps or Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies. Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Clojure, TypeScript, Python).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing distributed systems in production environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code platforms.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar solutions.
• Experience designing and supporting highly available, client-facing cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and enterprise infrastructure standards.
• Experience supporting business continuity planning and disaster recovery programs.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or security certifications.
