FIS

FIS is an American financial technology company founded in 1968 that supplies the core processing, payments and treasury software banks and corporations run their operations on. Its banking solutions business covers deposit and loan cores, digital channels and card issuing for thousands of financial institutions, while its capital markets business sells trading, treasury, lending and risk software to banks, asset managers and corporate finance departments. Headquartered in Jacksonville and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it sold most of its Worldpay merchant business in 2023 to refocus on the software it sells to financial institutions rather than merchant acquiring.
