About the role

The ISO Partner Manager is responsible for driving growth through Clover’s Independent Sales Organisation (ISO) partner channel. The role works closely with existing partners to build and execute growth plans that increase merchant acquisition, expand Clover adoption and strengthen partner engagement.

Acting as the primary commercial relationship owner, the ISO Partner Manager will understand each partner’s business, identify opportunities for growth, enable their sales teams and coordinate the Clover resources required to help partners succeed.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, developing growth strategies and turning opportunities into measurable results.

What you will do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of ISO partners, driving increased merchant acquisition and Clover adoption.
  • Develop and execute joint business and growth plans with partners, establishing clear priorities and measurable objectives.
  • Analyse partner performance, pipelines and merchant opportunities to identify and accelerate growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships across partner organisations, acting as a trusted commercial adviser to business owners, sales leaders and frontline teams.
  • Enable partner sales teams with Clover product knowledge, propositions, sales tools, training and ongoing support.
  • Support strategic merchant opportunities requiring deeper Clover product, solution or commercial expertise.
  • Develop and execute partner-led go-to-market initiatives, merchant acquisition campaigns and new Clover product launches.
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Sales and Operations to support partner initiatives, resolve barriers and improve partner and merchant outcomes.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, maintain visibility of performance and risks, and provide internal insights on partner needs, market dynamics and opportunities for product or process improvement.

What you will need to have

  • Strong experience in payments, merchant acquiring, POS, fintech or B2B technology
  • Experience managing and growing channel, ISO, reseller, referral or strategic partner relationships
  • Strong commercial capability with a track record of identifying and executing growth opportunities
  • Experience working directly with sales teams and enabling partners to sell technology solutions
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into clear merchant and partner value propositions
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Comfortable working with sales pipelines, performance data and commercial targets
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations and other teams
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian merchant and payments landscape would be advantageous
