Application Support Engineer

• Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
• Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
• Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
• Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the

Senior Engineer.

• Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network

configuration

• Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email tickets, or chat, until

they’ve solved a technical issue

• Customer application administration; Deploy, configure, integrate, and test the

implemented solution based on Technical and Business requirements.

• React to High Severity issues and technical situations that require immediate attention.
• Work with multiple teams for successful resolution of issues and incidents.
• Open to flexible working conditions including after-hours scheduled application

maintenance and support

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar.

• Work with application developers to understand, document, and resolve software issues
• Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Web Application Support

Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role

• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor

performance.
