Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications (frontend and backend).
• Conduct mobile app testing on Android and iOS platforms
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to building effective test strategies and plans.
• Conduct API testing using Playwright integrations
• Analyse test failures, debug issues, and provide clear and detailed defect reports.
• Contribute to establishing QA best practices and maintaining high testing standards within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software QA principles, methodologies, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for automation testing.
• Practical experience in mobile app testing (manual and/or automated).
• Good knowledge of frontend testing (UI validation, browser compatibility) and backend testing (API validation, data consistency).
• Proficiency in writing test cases, test documentation, and bug reports.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools such as Postman or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
