Working alongside operational teams, you'll undertake testing on raw materials and finished products, analyse and interpret results, and provide valuable insights that support quality, performance and continuous improvement.

You'll also contribute to mix design trials, assist with technical investigations, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and dependable testing. This diverse role offers a great mix of laboratory, technical and operational work, providing plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your expertise.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position.

  • Ability to follow testing procedures and accurately record information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience within construction materials, concrete, manufacturing or laboratory environments is advantageous
  • Knowledge of concrete technology or mix designs is desirable but not essential

What's in it for You?

  • Join one of New Zealand's leading concrete and construction materials businesses
  • Ongoing training and development, including industry-recognised qualifications
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career within the Fletcher Building group
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Variety in your day with a mix of laboratory, testing and operational activities
  • Competitive remuneration and employee benefits
