Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL.
The Digital Communications Coordinator position works to enhance the University’s public image, increase awareness about FAU’s faculty, staff, students and programs, and to ensure consistency of image and quality in all marketing/public relations communications.
Summary of Responsibilities
Serve as the primary coordinator for university marketing projects from intake through completion.
Develop and manage campaign timelines, ensuring stakeholders meet deadlines and projects remain on schedule.
Maintain the master communications calendar and coordinate message timing across multiple departments and initiatives.
Track deliverables, approvals, and dependencies to ensure seamless execution of fundraising and engagement campaigns.
Identify workflow improvements and contribute to the development of scalable marketing processes and procedures.
Assist with paid social media coordination, including campaign setup support, content alignment, audience coordination, and performance tracking.
Coordinate marketing support for university-wide events, campaigns, and special initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration.
Help connect Advancement marketing needs with broader university priorities, ensuring campaigns and communications reflect institutional goals and brand standards.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support shared projects, align messaging, and ensure consistent execution across channels.
Manage the production, testing, scheduling, and deployment of email communications across Institutional Advancement.
Support fundraising appeals, alumni engagement initiatives, stewardship communications, event promotions, and executive communications.
Coordinate audience segmentation and list requests in partnership with Advancement Services.
Maintain quality control standards across all email campaigns, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with university standards.
Support performance analysis and recommend enhancements to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Serve as the day-to-day manager of Foundation and Alumni web properties.
Maintain website content and ensure information remains accurate, current, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Create new web pages and campaign landing pages in support of fundraising and engagement initiatives.
Conduct regular website audits and content refreshes to improve usability, content quality, and user experience.
Coordinate web-related requests and collaborate with stakeholders to support evolving business needs.
Assist in maintaining campaign performance records and reporting materials.
Conduct quality assurance reviews for emails, websites, and digital marketing assets.
Help identify opportunities to improve campaign execution, operational efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
Maintain organized digital asset libraries, project documentation, and campaign records.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or related field; or a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or related field, and two years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or project management required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing email marketing campaigns and website content.
Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience in higher education, nonprofit, alumni relations, or advancement communications.
Experience with marketing automation.
Experience working with content management systems and web publishing tools.
Familiarity with audience segmentation, campaign planning, and digital analytics.
Experience coordinating with creative teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
Salary:
