Job Description

Mechanical engineer with experience in design and application engineering of Packaged / Rotating equipment across Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Manufacturing sectors such as Batteries, Pharma, etc.

Experience in handling package / rotating equipment like:

• Pumps: Centrifugal, Rotary, Positive Displacement (PD)
• Compressors: Centrifugal, Reciprocating, Screw
• Fans and Blowers
• Mechanical Packages: Instrument Air, Chemical Injection, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment, Chillers, Filters, Incinerators, Boilers, Desuperheaters, Static Mixers, Agitators etc.
• Well versed with relevant equipment codes & standards like API, ASME, ANSI, etc.

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Mechanical engineering field of study and at least four (4) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Preparation of Mechanical Datasheets and Material Requisitions.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), manage clarifications and issue Technical Bid Summaries / Recommendation.
• Preparation and issuance of Purchase Requisitions.
• Review of vendor drawings and documents during detailed engineering.
• Cross-functional coordination with clients, vendors, and other disciplines.
• Participation in Design Review Meetings, PIMs, HAZOPs, and Model Reviews.
• Manage change control and track package-level modifications.
• Support inspection and testing activities.
• Participate in expediting visits, shop inspections, and performance test runs

Other Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 - 8 years of experience into design and detail engineering.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural, global project environments across time zones.
