About the role

We're looking for a Shopify Developer who can work with enterprise. We need a Shopify developer who is equally strong on the front end and the back end, communicates clearly, and ships work that doesn't need to be QA'd twice.

You'll work directly with our PM team on a mix of retainer accounts and one-time builds. Tickets range from small theme tweaks to custom app development and complex middleware/API work.

What you'll do

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus themes
• Develop custom sections, blocks, and templates using Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL) and webhooks
• Build simple custom apps when off-the-shelf solutions don't fit
• Investigate bugs, propose approaches, and provide accurate estimates before starting work
• QA your own work across devices, browsers, and user states
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly through ClickUp and Slack

Must have

• 3-4+ years of Shopify development experience (Plus a strong plus)
• Strong front-end: Liquid, modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive, performance
• Strong back-end: Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, webhooks
• Experience building custom Shopify apps (Node.js, Ruby, or similar)
• High attention to detail - pixel-perfect front end, clean code
• Available for regular updates with EST overlap
• Clear written and spoken communicator
• Ability to attend client meetings as needed

Nice to have

• Shopify Functions, Hydrogen, or Oxygen
• ERP experience (D365, NetSuite, SAP) or PIM (Salsify, Akeneo)
• Klaviyo, Bloomreach, SearchSpring, Rebuy
• ADA/WCAG remediation
• GA4, GTM, structured data
