About The Role
Working in the Client Engagement Centre, the client onboarding executive will be required to support client teams by undertaking customer due diligence on clients. This includes carrying out initial research (including screening to identity a variety of risks, such as adverse media) on the prospective clients, collation of publicly available information about the client and relevant documentation, and, inputting this into the firm's systems.
- Carrying out client due diligence and collation of supporting documents for a variety of new and existing clients and updating on a periodic basis.
- Screening of clients for sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and adverse media. Providing appropriate level of support to the Risk Partner to help them assess the risk profile.
- Input the due diligence information and documentation into firm's systems for onward submission and review.
- Leading by example in demonstrating that they are reliable and self-motivated, placing high priority on achieving quality in all tasks they complete.
- Liaise with the client facing teams to obtain further information and/or documentation where this has not been provided or is not available from open sources. Recognising anomalies or issues, and escalating matters as appropriate.
- IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of internet tools
- Works well within a team environment, developing and maintaining relationships within the team and wider firm
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Communication skills (written and verbal) are required together with the ability to work under time pressure and to deadlines
