Finance Operations Lead

Job Description

The Regional Finance Operations Lead will be responsible for driving the centralization, standardization and operational governance of Treasury, Payments, Accounts Payable and reconciliation activities across LATAM.

This role will serve as the regional operational owner for cash management, payment execution processes, treasury visibility, banking coordination and transactional finance operations, while partnering closely with Shared Services, local finance teams and regional leadership.

The position will play a key role in strengthening operational controls, improving cash visibility, standardizing processes, driving efficiency initiatives and building scalable finance operations capabilities across the region.

The ideal candidate combines strong treasury and finance operations experience with a hands-on execution mindset and a proven ability to lead regional process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Operations & Cash Management

• Lead the transition from locally managed treasury activities to a more centralized regional operating model.
• Maintain regional cash visibility and develop cash positioning processes across all operating entities.
• Coordinate short-term liquidity planning and cash forecasting activities with local finance teams.
• Monitor cash movements, bank balances, funding requirements and operational liquidity risks.
• Coordinate bank, treasury and payment-related reconciliation activities and drive timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Partner with Operations, Payroll and Finance teams to ensure timely funding and execution of critical disbursements and improve working capital visibility and cash planning across the region.
• Lead efforts to standardize banking structures, visibility and treasury practices across LATAM entities.

Payments & AP Governance:

• Oversee payment operations across LATAM to ensure consistency, control and timely execution.
• Partner with local finance and Shared Services teams to strengthen operational performance and issue resolution.
• Support vendor payment processes and operational governance.
• Support resolution of payment exceptions, vendor issues and outstanding transactional items.

Credit Card & Operational Controls:

• Support operational administration and coordination of Credit Card programs and payment-related controls.
• Monitor credit card program controls, approval compliance and policy adherence across LATAM.
• Coordinate with regional teams and Shared Services resources to support operational consistency and timely issue resolution.

Regional Finance Operations Governance:

• Develop and monitor treasury KPIs including cash visibility, forecast accuracy, liquidity management and payment performance.
• Drive process standardization, documentation and control improvements to improve operational scalability.
• Develop automated reporting, reconciliation and treasury monitoring tools to improve efficiency, visibility and control across regional operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of treasury, cash management, banking operations, payment operations or regional finance operations experience.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, banking processes, payment operations, operational controls and working capital management.
• Experience working with ERP systems, banking platforms, treasury management processes and payment technologies required.
• Experience supporting multinational or regional finance operations preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including Power Query, complex data analysis, reporting automation, reconciliations and process optimization. Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish required; Portuguese preferred.
