We’re looking for an experienced Executive Compensation professional to join a major international organisation for an initial six-month assignment, taking ownership of a business-critical executive reward cycle through to final Board approval. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows executive compensation inside out and enjoys being close to the detail. You’ll be working across a sizeable global executive population, bringing together performance ratings and target outcomes and translating these into individual bonus awards.
There’s a significant amount of data involved, so accuracy and attention to detail will be essential. You’ll need to be comfortable interrogating compensation data, resolving inconsistencies and making sure the final outcomes are robust and defensible. Just as importantly, this isn’t simply a number-crunching role. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Reward, Finance and business stakeholders, providing appropriate challenge where required and taking responsibility for ensuring the final compensation outputs are ready for Board-level review and sign-off.
As a result we’re looking for someone with strong Executive Compensation / Executive Reward experience who has ideally been through annual bonus or incentive cycles for senior populations before. Who understands how performance ratings, targets and incentive measures ultimately translate into individual awards and have the judgement and credibility to operate confidently with senior stakeholders.
You’ll also need to be highly numerate, very comfortable working with complex compensation data. Experience gained within a large, international or similarly complex organisation would be particularly valuable.
This is a hands-on role, but a senior and highly visible one. For someone who enjoys the technical side of Executive Compensation and likes taking ownership of a defined piece of work from raw performance data through to final Board approval, it should be an interesting assignment.
