You will lead the Freelancer Enterprise Government Bid Team headquartered out of our Vancouver office. The team works with NASA and US Government agencies on delivering end-to-end program management for cutting edge NASA Task Orders.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and delivering on the pipeline of NASA Task Orders identified through a major NASA program. This role will see you lead the individual project management of each Task Order and also lead the overall NASA / Government program portfolio.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead US Government originated engagements, including influencing all aspects of the program from proposals, commercials, P&L through to operations and delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with excellent technical writing skills: you can translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Highly organized, analytical and able to work independently: you can juggle multiple engagements at the same time, you take ownership and you have a sense for prioritizing features, making estimates and creating timelines
• Comfortable liaising and influencing multiple senior stakeholders
• Proven work experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager
• Attention to detail and a strong level of customer focus
• High level of integrity and sense of urgency to “make things happen”
• Negotiating favourable commercial contracts and terms
• Comfortable writing bids and proposals, ideally for the Government sector
• Ability to read, analyze, and dissect legal, compliance, and technical bid proposals and complex projects

Nice to Have:

• US Citizenship (for US Government project clearance and on-site visits)
