1. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Process Engineering and Tooling (Mold Maintenance & Repair) departments.

• Build a high-performance engineering team capable of proactive problem-solving and process optimization.

• SetdepartmentalobjectivesandKPIsthatalignwithoverallplantandgrouptargets(especiallyOEE,scraprate,and quality).

• Manage departmental resources, including budget, manpower, and training.

2.Process Engineering & Optimization

• Championcontinuousimprovementinitiatives(e.g., Lean,SixSigma)toenhanceproductionefficiency, reducecycle times, and minimize waste.

• Lead systematic root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why) for all major production and quality deviations.

• Establish and maintain standardized, stable, and capable injection molding processes for all parts.

• Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analyzing and reducing downtime, speed loss, and quality loss.

• Identify and implement automation and process improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce reliance on manual labor.

3.Tooling Management

• Oversee the management and maintenance strategy

• Implement and manage a robust preventive and predictive maintenance program for all tooling to ensure mold longevity andminimizeunplanneddowntime.

• Lead the in-house tooling team in efficient mold troubleshooting, repair, and modification.

• Manage tooling spare parts inventory and external vendors for complex repairs or new tool fabrication.

4.Quality & New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Collaborate closely with the Quality (QA/QC) department to ensure all processes meet IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

• Lead the engineering team’s involvement in NPI, ensuring new molds and processes are validated (PPAP, FMEA, ProcessFlow, Control Plan) and production-ready on time.

• Ensure process parameters are scientifically developed, documented, and controlled.

5.Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work as a key partner to the Production, Production Planning, and Quality managers to achieve daily output and delivery targets.

• Provide technical support to the Sales and Supply Chain teams for new project feasibility (RFQ) and technical customer communication.

• Report on key engineering metrics and project status to the plant General Manager and HQ Technical Director.
