About the Role
We are looking for experienced UI / Visual Designer Specialists with strong expertise in interface design, visual design, design systems, component libraries, Figma, and design documentation.
In this role, you will apply your design expertise to critically evaluate digital interfaces, explain the reasoning behind visual and interaction design decisions, develop design system principles, review component libraries, and create clear design documentation. Your work will contribute to training and evaluating next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world professional input.
No prior AI experience is required. Your design expertise is what matters.
This opportunity is particularly suited to designers who can combine strong visual design judgment with analytical thinking and the ability to clearly articulate and document design decisions.
What You’ll Do
UI & Visual Design Evaluation
- Critically evaluate user interfaces, identifying strengths and weaknesses in visual and interaction design.
- Assess visual hierarchy, typography, color, layout, spacing, and responsive design.
- Provide structured analysis and recommendations based on design principles and usability considerations.
Design Rationale & Communication
- Develop clear, structured, and well-reasoned written rationales for design decisions.
- Document design analysis, recommendations, and underlying reasoning.
- Explain complex design choices clearly to diverse audiences.
Design Systems & Component Libraries
- Develop and articulate principles, patterns, and guidelines that support robust design systems.
- Review, refine, and document component libraries for clarity and consistency.
- Ensure component guidelines and supporting documentation clearly communicate design decisions and rationale.
Figma & Interface Design
- Create clear, visually engaging mockups using Figma.
- Apply best practices in color, typography, spacing, layout, and responsive design.
- Translate design principles into clear visual solutions and documented design decisions.
Accessibility & Usability
- Address accessibility standards and usability considerations in visual design.
- Apply accessibility principles to interface design and supporting documentation.
- Ensure design systems and component documentation account for accessibility requirements.
Design Documentation
- Produce comprehensive design documentation covering decisions, principles, patterns, and rationale.
- Communicate design reasoning effectively through clear written documentation.
- Structure documentation for diverse audiences while maintaining clarity and consistency.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UI, visual, or product design, supported by a strong portfolio of digital work.
- Deep expertise in typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, layout, and responsive design.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience documenting design systems or writing component guidelines with detailed, persuasive rationales.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex design choices clearly and analytically.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and their practical application in interface design.
- Background from leading universities or highly regarded organizations is valued.
- Advanced English writing skills are essential.
