About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to lead technical customer engagements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Microsoft Power Platform and Power Pages solutions across delivery and managed-service environments. The role provides senior technical leadership across discovery, solution design, configuration, customisation, development, integration, data migration, application lifecycle management, release, enhancement and business-as-usual support for customers across Australia and New Zealand.

A key focus is the architecture and delivery of secure, responsive and data-driven Power Pages sites integrated with Dynamics 365 CE, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate and approved external services. The role also provides operational leadership by supporting service queues, service-level commitments, major incidents and continuous improvement. It provides technical assurance, resolves complex issues, mentors team members, advises customers on good practice and contributes to presales, reusable assets and practice capability. This role offers hybrid working.

Location: Melbourne preferred, flexible across east coast of Australia.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture activities, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Power Pages solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Power Pages, integrations, custom development, security, data management, and application lifecycle management.
• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise solutions including model-driven applications, workflows, APIs, integrations, data migrations, and automation capabilities.
• Establish and govern technical standards, ensuring solution quality through architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment assurance, and risk management.
• Lead Power Pages solution delivery, including portal architecture, security, authentication, user experience, integrations, deployment, and operational support.
• Support operational excellence through incident resolution, service improvement initiatives, technical advisory services, and optimisation of existing customer environments.
• Build trusted customer relationships while contributing to presales activities, solution estimations, mentoring, practice development, and continuous innovation across the Microsoft Business Applications practice.

Requirements and Experience

In order to thrive in this role, we would envisage you having:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business applications, CRM, web portals, software engineering or technical consulting.
• Substantial hands-on experience delivering and supporting Dynamics 365 CE, legacy Dynamics CRM and Power Platform solutions across design, development, integration, deployment and BAU support.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical workstreams and independently resolving complex solution, security, integration, performance or production issues.
• Professional-services, consulting and managed-support experience, ideally supported by relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience leading customer-facing workshops and translating requirements into technical architecture and delivery plans.
• Experience estimating and scoping technical solutions for proposals, work requests, enhancements and programmes of work.
• Experience mentoring consultants and developers across onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Experience with government, regulated industries, utilities, manufacturing or primary-sector customers is desirable.
