KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive achievement of NB sales targets and overall business goals.
- Develop and execute annual business plans and sales strategies aligned with partnership objectives.
- Plan and implement tactical sales campaigns for customers and sales teams.
- Monitor nationwide sales performance and initiate timely interventions using Business MI.
- Provide regular performance updates, insights and recommendations to Management.
Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with bank partners and key stakeholders.
- Attend joint working group meetings and collaboration sessions with bank partners and group counterparts.
- Ensure agreed service level standards are met and resolve sales-related issues effectively.
People Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach and motivate RMs and team to achieve assigned targets.
- Strengthen product knowledge, sales capability and need-based selling skills.
- Conduct regular field visits to branches and states to provide on-ground support.
Customer & Compliance
- Ensure high standards of integrity, professionalism and compliance in all sales activities.
- Uphold company policies, regulatory requirements and bank partner frameworks.
Operational & Risk Managemen t
- Identify and manage operational and sales-related risks.
- Ensure timely implementation of audit and risk review recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in insurance or bancassurance.
- Possess board-based knowledge of the Insurance business and Malaysian market practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing sales teams.
- Possess business acumen with strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
